Dr. George Quintero

Dr. George Quintero started Quintero Periodontics in 1999 and has been treating the local community with whole-hearted care ever since. His passion and focus have always been centered on people, learning his patients’ stories and making sure they feel known, seen, and heard in his care. In the culmination of his career, Dr. Quintero is proud to say that his son, Dr. David, will keep his legacy going strong!

Dr. George graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Dental School in 1974 and completed his periodontal residency in 1980 at the National Naval Dental Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Quintero has served his country as a Naval Dental Officer and retired as a Naval Captain in 1994. He taught as a professor at the National Naval Dental Center from 1989 to 1994, publishing an array of journal articles and clinical updates. Dedicated to his craft, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Medicine, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Fellow of International College of Dentists.

Dr. Quintero cherishes his time spent with his lovely wife, Suzanne, and their three brilliant children, Stacey, Julie, and David. He actively participates in community service and has provided dental services on summer mission trips to Mexico, Venezuela, and Brazil since 1992. He has supervised dental students from the Dental College of Georgia on missions and volunteers his dental services at the Truths Dental Clinic in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
